Our Beliefs
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9.
We, here at Covenant, acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We believe that Jesus gave his life for the remission of sin and was raised from the dead on the third day. We believe in the triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in holiness and righteousness. We believe that salvation can only be found through acceptance of Jesus Christ.
At covenant, Jesus Christ reigns supreme and we will be led by the Holy Spirit in word and deed. We believe that if we let Jesus reign, then we will be able to do whatever is necessary to help usher in a society like God’s kingdom, in which justice, equality, and abundance prevail.
